Miami Pool House
Miami Pool House, located in the heart of Wynwood, Miami, is a tropical retreat made up of three distinct buildings. The Pool House was once a 1940s printing factory, while The Loft, a 1960s machine shop, and The Cottage, a 1920s Sears kit home, each add their own character. Drawing inspiration from Wynwood’s history, the design incorporates elements from the 1920s garment industry and vibrant Puerto Rican culture, reflected in bold patterns and floral prints.
Inspired by Slim Aarons’ iconic photos, the space embraces a relaxed, glamorous atmosphere, with lush tropical plants creating a serene escape. Local antique furniture was reupholstered in playful patterns, complemented by pastel lighting and ceramic-tiled tables.
The Pool House’s formal dining area features patterned wooden floors, pastel pink walls, and a bar inspired by early 20th-century domestic furniture. The Loft, with its double-height ceiling, showcases a local abstract mural, vintage furniture, and rich warm tones. The Cottage offers a cozy lounge area with pastel furniture and rattan lighting, while the pool area boasts vibrant tile designs and bespoke loungers, creating a dynamic environment perfect for relaxation and entertaining.
